OLD LYME PLANNING COMMISSION
REGULAR MEETING
MARCH 9, 2006
Present were: Vice Chairman Robert McCarthy, Connie Kastelowitz, Steve Ross, Alternate Nancy Strohla was seated for Chris Kerr and Alternate Robert Pierson was seated for Harold Thompson.
Vice Chair McCarthy called the meeting to order at 7:34 p.m.
PRELIMINARY DISCUSSIONS: AMES – WHIPPOORWILL ROAD
DOUGHERTY – NECK ROAD
Bob Pierson made a motion to table the preliminary discussions at the applicant’s request. Connie Kastelowitz seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously.
JOINT WORKSHOP OPEN SPACE COMMITTEE
The committee selected possible dates to hold the workshop at the end of March.
REQUEST FOR RELEASE OF BOND – SCHELLENS – SAUNDERS HOLLOW ROAD
Bob Pierson made a motion to table this item until the engineering review is completed. Nancy Strohla seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously.
REQUEST FOR AN EXTENSION – BASSAM AWWA – LORDS WOODS SUBDIVISION
Bob Pierson made a motion to grant an extension for the Lords Woods Subdivision to file the mylars and post the bond until May 1, 2006. Nancy Strohla seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously.
READING AND APPROVAL OF THE FEBRUARY MINUTES
Steve Ross made a motion to waive the reading and approve the minutes as submitted. Connie Kastelowitz seconded the motion. The motion passed. Robert McCarthy abstained.
